So this idiot is saying that pagans stole Christmas, when it was actually the Christian church that stole Christmas from Saturnalia and other pagan celebrations. If you are to believe the biblical story, then a birth day of December 25th is not supported.
Shepherds were not in the fields watching the flock in December (Luke 2:7-8) and Mary and Joseph supposedly came to Bethlehem to register in a Roman Census (Luke 2:1-4). Roman censuses were never taken in winter because the roads would freeze and would be in poor condition. The journey would be a struggle to survive.
You can also compare internally the age of John (who was in the second trimester when Jesus was conceived Luke 1:8-13, 23-24) and come to the conclusion that September was the birth month for Jesus.
Finally, there is Jeremiah 10:1-4, which is a strict commandment to not join in on the practice of bringing a “Christmas tree” into your home because it is a pagan ritual.
“Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”
Now that we got that out of the way, why in the world would you get your biblical knowledge from someone that obviously never even read their bible? Schooled by a biblical scholar.
Bang bang, pow pow, Kirk Cameron=Fraud (and false prophet by the Bible’s own specifications).
